Rincon Taurino Restaurant in Chino offers a straightforward dive into Mexican fast food with a focus on carne asada and classic street-style tacos. Located along Riverside Drive, this spot tends to attract locals who know their way around authentic Mexican flavors without the fanfare. The vibe is casual and unpretentious—you’ll see families and regulars grabbing quick, satisfying meals rather than lingering over long dinners.

The menu centers on hearty meat options: carne asada tacos and burritos, al pastor tacos, barbacoa, and tortas loaded with fresh avocado, grilled onions, and creamy cheese. Portion sizes lean toward filling rather than fancy, drawing in the lunchtime crowd or anyone craving a no-frills, meat-forward Mexican meal. Drinks like horchata and various aguas frescas round out the experience, offering a familiar balance to the richness of the food.

Ordering here can feel more authentic than convenient—customers have noted that a bit of Spanish helps, as the staff keep it real and efficient rather than tourist-friendly with English menus or explanations. The atmosphere reflects this: a practical spot where locals stop by for their taco fix, but service pace can vary, especially during busy times.

People seem to appreciate Rincon Taurino for solid traditional dishes like the consommé de borrego and the sope de carne asada, and the consistency of their meat quality—chewy in the right way for taco fillings. It’s less about ambiance and more about the food hitting the mark without extras. Those who enjoy authentic Mexican street food, especially chopped meat tacos or robust burritos, will find themselves at home here.

If you’re planning a visit, midday or early evening is when most steady traffic flows, giving you a chance to grab a quick bite before heading out or back from local errands. This is less a sit-and-stay spot and more a grab-your-plate-and-go kind of place where the ingredients and flavors are front and center.

Been coming here a long time for their tacos and consommé. The food is typically great, as was this recent experience. Overall the food is decently priced as we spent $45 for all that is pictured and two drinks that were not photographed. Be sure to brush up on your high school Spanish before you come here, because you may have a difficult time ordering without it. It’s been a minute since I last ordered food in Spanish and it was a journey from stepping foot inside and getting the food into my mouth. After I sat down and was waiting for my food, did all the vocabulary come to me. I sat there kicking myself for butchering the language just a few minutes earlier. It is what it is. I used to come through here to get the menudo, but it didn’t sound like they sell that anymore. But they did have consommé de borrego, which was just as great. On top of it all, the decor inside is very enjoyable to look at.

One of the best Mexican food establishments in the IE. Asada burrito is my all time favorite. Sopes and torta also good.

I love coming here for the tacos and burritos. This used to be my hole in the wall taco joint. Especially these chorizo burrito. But the last time I went the portion of meat was smaller and rice and beans greater. Service too seemed to have slowed and not kept things in check. They let two couples just cut in front and my order too longer then expected.

Costias Plate best of the best fried onions great salsa and the beans epic. The tacos and Hugo's is what everyone comes here for. Real authentic place no taco bell madness here. There's 4 locations we always go to the one in LA . But in a pinch the one in Corona is were it's at. Legit we go to Mexico alot michucan ensanada and this place is bomb. A must try.
